We have proudly provided Height Safety Audit,Training and Equipment
supply services to the Walt Disney Company on the Lion King production
here in the UK.
Mowlem PLC contracted our services for the appraisal of Height Safety
practices on the Portsmouth Spinnaker Tower project. This contract was then extended to include numerous aspects of the works required for completion including the installation of the exterior feature lighting, glazing repairs, the external lift andthe painting of the structure itself. Our involvement
continues in a close working relationship with both the towers owners
and the operators to this day.
The Continuum Group operate a number of attractions around the UK,
including Spinnaker Tower and Oxford Castle. Working with Continuum as its Specialist Access contractor has allowed the group
to continue in its management role without the time consuming delays
that can come about with Working at Height
Haymills are an independent construction company with a reputation for
specialist high quality projects. The bespoke Height Safety System
designed on their behalf at Pallant House Gallery, Chichester reflects
this reputation. Carefully designed to provide minimal visual impact,
whilst providing maximum user safety
The construction of a high profile developement Rope Quays alongside Frater Lake,
Gosport required unique access solutions. Both safe working practice
procedures and supplier suitability were provided on this project with
a satisfactory completion.
Carrilion PLC have continually used our Consultancy,Roped Access and Training
services on various projects over the last 5 years. From basic Working
at Height procedures and Roped Access personnel to Height Safety Audits, our experience has
allowed Carrilion to manage Height Safety with the minimum of
complications.
Asda are not just your local supermarket. Their distribution
wharehouses are some of the largest in the UK. Computerised loading
systems work alongside personnel 24hrs a day. The requirement to access
the uppers reaches of these systems when a fault arises instigated a
lengthy appraisal of working practices. The implimentation of
specialist training for these personnel along with suitable equipment
and procedures continues to this day ensuring that safety is maintained
to the highest standard.
The welfare of BT's staff at its headquarters in Crawley required a
rather unusual approach. Its spacious offices are air conditioned to
ensure their comfort however the equipments maintenance was of major
concern. Located above a 3 storey lobby, the units position required
the design and manufacture of a rather unusual solution. Its successful
implementation has allowed the servicing to be undertaken in complete
safety for the operatives concerned.
